About the Role CNH Industrial is seeking a Design Engineer III to join the Engine Installation team within our Large Tractor & Crop Production group. The role focuses on the design, integration, and validation of engine installation subsystems (cooling, exhaust, air intake, and fuel systems) for Large tractor, sprayer, and spreader vehicle applications. This position supports a hybrid work model with on-site and remote work. What You'll Do
- Develop and implement design solutions for engine installation subsystems and components.
- Design components, assemblies, and subsystems using Creo CAD Modeling software.
- Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and associated Product Data Management (PDM) records; process engineering changes using PTC & Siemens toolsets.
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve complex mechanical and subsystem-level issues.
- Balance cost, schedule, and performance to deliver optimized engineering solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (systems, validation, manufacturing) to ensure alignment and execution.
- Work with external suppliers to develop and validate new technologies and performance requirements.
- Support validation activities and ensure subsystem performance meets defined requirements. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Automotive Engineering, or aerospace (or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience in product development or system design.
- Minimum of 3 years of Creo modeling, large assemblies, and GD&T.
- Preferred: 3–5 years of experience in OEM vehicle hardware designs.
