About the Role
Design Consultant in Raleigh is part of our Sales team responsible for in-home consultations, providing estimates, sales solutions, and custom design options for replacement projects. This role emphasizes a customer-focused, consultative selling experience and building rapport with homeowners to drive results.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners, understanding needs and presenting design options
- Provide accurate estimates, sales solutions, and custom design options for replacement projects
- Build rapport with customers and deliver a superior homeowner experience to achieve top results
- Manage pre-set, pre-qualified leads and schedule homeowner appointments on evenings and weekends
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and product teams to craft compelling proposals and close deals
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and referrals
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 2+ years of in-home or outside sales experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Schedule availability to run homeowner appointments on evenings and weekends
- Ability to sit, walk, reach at waist level, climb stairs; frequent movement and occasional lifting up to 55 lbs
- Ability to drive personal vehicle
Nice to Have
- Experience in home improvement or replacement projects (windows, doors, etc.)
- Prior experience with design consultations or sales presentations
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $200,000 - $255,000 per year (USD)
- 10 weeks of paid training to ensure success
- Profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, quarterly payouts
