About the Role Design Consultants deliver a world-class homeowner experience through in-home sales consultations in the Greater Michigan market. You’ll conduct 8–12 appointments per week, showcase Renewal by Andersen’s exclusive product and installation process, and help homeowners choose and customize window, patio door, and entry door solutions.

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-home sales consultations using an iPad and augmented reality to design and build window and door replacement solutions for homeowners.
• Follow established Renewal Sales and measure processes through to completion, submitting necessary contracts and paperwork for each project.
• Drive a personal vehicle and travel to in-home appointments (up to approximately 1,800–2,500 miles per month).
• Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, trainings, and branch meetings; assist with technical measurements and support the sales project process (documentation, order changes, discounting guidelines, and homeowner communication).
• Leverage a no cold calling environment with pre-set, pre-qualified leads to build relationships and close sales.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision; positive attitude and goal-driven in a competitive industry.
• Basic computer/iPad skills and comfort with technology.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and/or ability to obtain in-home state license (requirements vary by state).
• Must be able to routinely lift/move items up to 53 pounds; ability to sit, walk, and climb stairs as part of in-home visits.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel for appointments and meetings as required.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in in-home sales or home improvement/outdoor projects.
• Experience with AR/design tools and iPad-based design platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: average earnings around $150,000 per year, with top performers earning $200,000+; compensation varies by experience, location, and certifications.
• Training: 10 weeks of paid training at $25/hour, plus ongoing coaching.
• Benefits: 401(k) with employer contributions and company match, profit sharing, medical/dental/vision, flexible spending accounts for healthcare, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, paid maternity and parental leave, and dependent care FSA.
• Profit Sharing: 2025 target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated and paid quarterly based on operating profit performance.
