Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a seasonal opportunity in Southwest Florida.
• The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of dermatologic conditions while working with a supervising physician and clinical support team.
• This position offers a flexible seasonal schedule and the opportunity to work in the Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, and Naples markets.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat dermatologic conditions
• Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform dermatologic procedures based on experience and comfort level
• Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, ED&C, and simple excisions/repairs as appropriate
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Document patient encounters accurately using EMA
• Collaborate with the supervising physician and clinical team
• Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced dermatology setting
• Travel between locations within the Southwest Florida service area as needed

Qualifications

• Active Florida NP or PA license, or ability to obtain prior to starting

• Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience as a practicing NP or PA

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

• Excellent communication and patient education skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dermatology environment

• Ability to work collaboratively with a supervising physician

• Willingness to travel within the Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, and Naples area

• No specific dermatology procedure is required from day one. Training and support are available as needed.

• DEA registration and controlled-substance prescribing experience are not required.

• Compensation Details

• 135K–166K
