ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and dynamic leader to serve as the Deputy Director of Industrial Security. In this critical leadership role, you will assist with overseeing the strategic direction and operational execution of our enterprise-wide industrial security program. You will lead a large, geographically dispersed security team across the United States, including Regional Facility Security Officers (RFSOs), site-level Facility Security Officers (FSOs), and a centralized Personnel Security (PERSEC) team. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience as an FSO, deep subject matter expertise in 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) Must be able to work within a collaborative team environment and take independent action, analyze problems, and provide security focused solutions to Anduril and government personnel.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Serve as the senior technical authority on 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), ensuring absolute enterprise-wide compliance across all cleared facilities.

• Leverage expertise with US government security policies, procedures and industry experience as it relates to Industrial security.

• Build a culture of compliance, operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement across all security functions.

• Establish team KPIs, conduct performance reviews, allocate resources effectively, and develop professional growth pathways for security personnel.

• In coordination with the security education manager, develop and deliver applicable security education topics to program personnel.

• Oversee and standardize Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs) for all cleared locations.

• Lead preparation efforts for Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and internal self-inspections.

• Serve as an escalated point of contact for complex security violations, and adverse information reporting. Oversee and coordinate all activities related to FOCI.

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree and ten years of industrial security-related experience.

• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to achieve goals and targets while handling multiple tasks.

• Minimum of 5+ years directly managing large, cross-functional, and geographically dispersed teams (including managing managers/regional leaders).

• FSO Background: Direct experience having served as an appointed Facility Security Officer (FSO) for a possessing/cleared facility.

• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and courteously both orally and in writing with all levels of employees, management and customers.

• Experience integrating security operations following corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).

• Active Top Secret

• US Salary Range

• $166,000—$220,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
