About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Deployment Strategist is the operational lead of the Remediation POD, responsible for delivery governance, stakeholder alignment, and end-to-end execution oversight across remediation engagements. Reporting to the Account Activation & Remediation Lead, this role ensures each engagement stays on scope, on schedule, and on track toward a successful go-live, while contributing to playbook development, product accelerators, and portfolio health assessments when not actively staffed on an engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope & Planning

  • Facilitate scope alignment sessions with the customer, SI partner, and internal stakeholders to establish shared understanding of remediation scope

  • Drive scope compression to out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities where appropriate to reduce delivery risk and accelerate timelines

  • Delivery Oversight & Governance

  • Monitor progress against the account-specific remediation plan and provide regular status updates to the Account Activation & Remediation Lead

  • Serve as the primary voice of the POD in the daily Triage Standup and weekly Remediation Sync, reporting on POD health, milestone status, and blockers

  • Make escalation decisions within the engagement; surface risks before they become critical

  • Go-Live & Handoff

  • Coordinate handoff documentation and structured transition of the stabilized account to BAU delivery teams or Customer Success

  • Ensure exit criteria are met before disengaging the POD

  • Bench Activities

  • Support scoping and development of remediation plans for upcoming engagements; contribute to playbooks, scope templates, and POD deployment frameworks

  • Document lessons learned and case studies from completed engagements for AI-based delivery accelerators and the AFLS resource library

  • Participate in customer/SI partner interviews as part of quarterly health assessments and support account scoring against the assessment rubric

Qualifications

  • Required

  • 8+ years in delivery/program management or consulting, with direct experience running at-risk or remediation engagements

  • Strong stakeholder and escalation management skills; comfort working directly with SI partners and customer executives

  • Preferred

  • PM/Agile certification (PMP, CSM, SAFe)

  • Prior Salesforce or Life Sciences delivery experience

  • Unleash Your Potential

  • When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.

This policy applies to current and prospective employees, no matter where they are in their Salesforce employment journey.
