Job title: Deployment Engineers (System Integration) - Solution Engineer/Deployment Engineer

About the Role Deployment Engineers (System Integration) will focus on deploying IMS nodes on Telco Clouds and delivering end-to-end IMS solutions in 4G/5G environments. The role requires deep telecom and cloud expertise, cross-functional collaboration (onsite and offshore), and strong implementation and upgrade capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end deployment, integration, and upgrade of IMS core network elements across 4G and 5G environments.
• Design and implement IMS solutions based on customer requirements, adhering to High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Level Design (DLD).
• Deploy IMS nodes on Bare Metal, VNF, and CNF architectures within Telco Cloud environments.
• Install, configure, and integrate IMS nodes such as SBC, S-CSCF, I-CSCF, and P-CSCF.
• Support deployment and operations of cloud-native IMS solutions using platforms like OpenStack, VMware, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Perform system validation, interoperability testing, and ensure seamless integration with multi-vendor environments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Wireshark, logs, and protocol-level debugging techniques.
• Provide deep technical support for IMS call flows, including VoLTE, VoWiFi, and related services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (onsite and offshore) to ensure timely delivery of deployment milestones.
• Execute software upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal service disruption.
• Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for high availability and scalability.
• Document deployment procedures, configurations, and operational guidelines.
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure solution alignment and successful project delivery.
• Lead technical discussions and support knowledge sharing within the team.

What We're Looking For

• 5-10 years of experience in telecom/solution deployment, with a minimum of 2+ years in IMS solution implementation/upgrades.
• End-to-end understanding of IMS solutions; deep knowledge of 4G/5G call flows; familiarity with VOLTE, VoWiFi, and IoT.
• Understanding of cloud environments and how IMS nodes can be deployed over cloud; experience deploying IMS core nodes as Bare Metal, VNF, or CNF.
• Expertise in installing, upgrading, and integrating IMS nodes; troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark and protocol-level debugging.
• Working knowledge of Linux, VMware, Docker, OpenStack, and OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of IMS nodes SBC, S-CSCF, I-CSCF, P-CSCF; knowledge of CFX, NTAS, SBC is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, team leadership, analytical, and presentation skills.
• English and Japanese bilingual, with business-level proficiency in Japanese.
• Willingness to work with offshore and onsite resources.

• Knowledge of CFX, NTAS, SBC etc. as an added advantage.
