1300SMILES Springfield Lakes is looking for a Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of clinical assisting and front-desk responsibilities, with the flexibility of working 2–3 days per week.
Job Description
You’ll play an important role in helping our practice run smoothly and ensuring our patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting our dentists during a range of dental procedures.
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining high sterilisation standards.
- Greeting patients and making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
- Managing appointments, answering calls and assisting with patient enquiries.
- Supporting reception duties, including payments and patient records.
- Working closely with the team to deliver a positive patient experience.
Qualifications

You’re approachable, dependable and enjoy being part of a team. You understand the importance of great patient care and are happy to jump in wherever needed.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience in dental assisting and/or dental reception.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

The ability to work in a busy practice while managing competing priorities.

Availability to work 2–3 days per week.
