About the Role Rutgers University is seeking a Dental Assistant II within the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM). Under general supervision, the Dental Assistant II will support the Department by maintaining the dispensary and providing chairside assistance, as needed, and all related duties for quality patient care. What You'll Do
- Maintain the dispensary and stock supplies for the Restorative Dentistry department.
- Provide chairside assistance to clinicians during patient examinations and treatments as needed.
- Perform related duties to support quality patient care and smooth clinical operations. What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a dental assistant (Dental Assistant II) or equivalent.
- Ability to work under general supervision in a clinical setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for dispensary maintenance.
- Commitment to providing quality patient care in a restorative dentistry environment. Nice to Have
