Job Description

YellowDoor Hotels, a premier boutique hotel chain in Abuja, Nigeria, is seeking a skilled Demi Chef to join the vibrant culinary team at The Living Room restaurant.

In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing and executing high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie, contributing to a fast-paced kitchen environment that prioritizes excellence and teamwork.

Your responsibilities will include meticulous ingredient preparation, adherence to established recipes, and maintaining impeccable hygiene standards at your workstation. You will also support other kitchen sections during peak service times, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to the team's success.

Qualifications

• At least two years of working-kitchen experience.

• Experience in hot-kitchen work under direction.

• Proficiency in prep and portioning.

• Understanding of recipe and plating consistency.

• Knowledge of workstation and equipment hygiene.
