Job title: Demand Planner

About the Role As a Demand Planner for Tangle Teezer within BIC World, you will own the forecast for Direct markets using historical trends, sell-through data and sales plans. Collaborating with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing and Operations, you will be the owner of the forecast, ensuring high levels of forecast accuracy, optimised stock and highlighting risks/opportunities vs the financial budget.

What You'll Do

• Create accurate rolling 18-month demand forecasts using inventory and sell-through data, historical trends and best-practice planning methodology
• Work closely with internal commercial and/or Distributor partner planning teams
• Use statistical data and modelling to generate forecasts where robust forecasts aren’t available
• Collaborate with the Production & Purchasing Planner to ensure the agreed demand plan is achievable (production capabilities/capacity) and work with the Customer Experience team to ensure we fulfil customer needs
• Highlight any risks/opportunities vs the financial plan in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process
• Input into the product lifecycle management process and review ABC classifications

What We're Looking For

• 2 years+ experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Operations
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with natural high attention to detail
• Proficient Excel user with aptitude to develop skills further
• Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Proactive, can-do attitude and desire to improve processes and outputs

Nice to Have

• Experience with Dynamics NAV, AGR or other MRP desirable
• Experience working with Amazon advantageous for Direct role
