Demand Generation Manager | Zero Gravity | London-hybrid
Who Zero Gravity are
Zero Gravity is a tech platform connecting students from low-income backgrounds to university and career opportunities - over 23,000 students supported into top universities to date. In April 2026 they launched an AI-powered tutor, already showing strong early engagement and attainment results, and have since won a government contract to scale it across the UK.
EQL Tech is Zero Gravity's exclusive recruitment partner for this search - all applications and enquiries for this role are handled by EQL Tech on Zero Gravity's behalf.
The role
Zero Gravity has a product that works - schools that try it tend to want more of it - and now needs someone to build the engine that gets it in front of the schools that have not found it yet. Marketing is being built from nothing. Today the growth and sales team are doing manual outreach, and you will turn that into a repeatable demand engine.
This is a builder's role, not a campaign-manager role. There is a rough playbook and a small test-and-expand budget of a few thousand pounds a month, not an agency budget. You are expected to spot what will work, ship it, read the results honestly, cut what does not, and put more behind what does. Cleverness and curiosity count for more here than a long list of past job titles.
Your audience is teachers and school leaders rather than typical B2B buyers, so the channels and messaging that work differ from most SaaS marketing playbooks. That makes it a genuinely interesting problem to solve.
Mission comes before everything else. It shows up directly in how you write copy and choose channels, because messaging that comes from real conviction reads differently to teachers than messaging optimised for MQLs. That carries equal weight with marketing track record.
What you'll actually be doing
- Owning the demand engine end to end - setting strategy, running channels and campaigns, and owning pipeline, not just activity metrics
- Running events: the flagship UK education conferences, plus webinars and roundtables Zero Gravity hosts, from logistics through to follow-up that converts
- Building outbound and account-based campaigns, including email sequences, LinkedIn and direct mail, that move a school leader from first contact to meeting to paying customer
- Showing up where your buyers already are - senior-leader networks, teacher communities and the education press
- Turning every win into case studies and quotes that sales actually use
- Diagnosing the funnel properly: finding where sign-ups and pipeline leak, testing fixes, and knowing which lever moves the number
- Using AI to move from idea to live faster than a normal marketing team could Where you will be
Central London (Old Street), 3+ days a week in the office.

- Early-stage go-to-market experience, ideally in a team of roughly 20-50 people
