Job title: Delivery Software Engineer

About the Role Delivery Software Engineer inside the Project Delivery team, responsible for implementing and rolling out Ascom software solutions in hospitals and healthcare organizations. You will own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle from installation and configuration to third-party integrations, testing, validation and go-live, ensuring interoperability with clinical workflows and hospital operations.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in the delivery of Ascom software projects in hospital and healthcare contexts.
  • Install, configure and validate software solutions at customer sites.
  • Support integrations and interoperability with hospital systems, clinical repositories, ADT, Order Entry and third-party platforms.
  • Collaborate to define technical specifications for developments and customizations.
  • Manage troubleshooting and analysis of application, database and infrastructure issues.
  • Coordinate testing, validation and final acceptance with the customer.
  • Interact with clinical stakeholders, clinical engineering, ICT and third-party providers during project phases.
  • Act as a technical reference for customers, partners and project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to activities required in regulated healthcare environments.
  • Deliver training to customers and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development and Delivery teams on evolutions and improvements.
  • Provide international remote support when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience installing, configuring or delivering enterprise or medical software solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server (MSSQL) and relational databases.
  • Experience in scripting or software development (C#, PowerShell, SQL or similar technologies).
  • Troubleshooting mindset and ability to manage complex environments.
  • Ability to interact directly with customers.
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English.
  • Willingness to work in international contexts.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of HL7, IHE or FHIR healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
  • Experience in regulated or quality-driven environments.
  • Experience in healthcare or clinical workflow.
