About this role
About the Role Join Picnic as a delivery driver in the Netherlands. You’ll deliver groceries from hubs to customers using crates weighing around 20 kg. You’ll have a flexible schedule and can work at least 16 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.
What You'll Do
- Start your shift at the hub, load your cart, follow your route, and deliver grocery bags (~20 kg) to customers.
- Work 2–3 hour shifts across morning, afternoon, and evening; you can combine multiple shifts (e.g., 14:00 – 22:30).
- Return to the hub for tips, free snacks, and chats with colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years old and hold a category B driving licence; comfortable on the road.
- Available for a minimum of 6 months and can work at least 16 hours per week.
- Energetic, positive, and customer-focused.
- Fluent in Dutch; some hubs also hire English speakers (Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague & Rotterdam).
- No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided.
Nice to Have
- English proficiency for relevant hubs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wages vary by age: 18–19: €9.98; 20: €12.95; 21+: €16.19 (gross, includes 8% holiday allowance).
- 8% holiday allowance paid annually in June.
- Tips are 100% yours; paid weekly; salary can also be received every four weeks if desired.
- Earn up to €16.19 per hour; €2,804 gross per month including holiday allowance.
- Weekly payments; free snacks at the hub; opportunities to connect with fellow drivers.
