Job Description
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team in Jerseyville, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our company, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes throughout Jerseyville and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service to all customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and represent the company with a positive attitude
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and securely
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
- Organize and load delivery items in the vehicle in a logical and secure manner
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and deliver items safely
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and route planning tools
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Positive attitude, resilience, and goal-oriented mindset
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
- Preferred: Familiarity with the local Jerseyville area and surrounding neighborhoods
- Must pass a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
