Insights & Analytics

ZS’s Expert Delivery & Global Enablement group partners with clients and project teams to deliver, scale and sustain solutions that help tackle a broad range of business challenges. Within the Analytics track, teams work across multiple projects, turning complex information into practical recommendations and high-quality deliverables through rigorous analysis, structured problem-solving and strong project delivery. Our recommendations and solutions are grounded in analytical rigor, functional expertise and collaboration with diverse global teams — building skills that matter and delivering work that improves life and how we live it.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and apply advanced statistical models that help clients understand dynamic business issues.

• Leverage analytic techniques to use data to guide client and ZS team decision-making.

• Design and execute custom analyses in R, Tableau, SAS, Visual Basic and Excel to address defined client questions and project needs.

• Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations.

• Develop client communication skills and at times serve as a point of contact for the client. Provide client and ZS teams project status updates.

• Create project deliverables and implement solutions.

• Advance problem-solving skills and improve ZS’s capabilities.

• Guide and mentor Associates on teams.

• What You’ll Bring

• Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree, with approximately 12 to 18 months remaining until graduation. Demonstrated academic success and interest in quantitative and analytical coursework, such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.

• Fluency in English.

• Knowledge of programming

• Exposure to tools/platforms

• Demonstrated proficiency in a programming language or analytic tool such as R, SAS, Tableau, or VBA.

• High motivation, good work ethic, maturity, and personal initiative.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Empathy, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.

• Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.

• Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks.

• Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, working in teams.

• Hi, everyone. I'm Apurva Hedley. During my internship at ZS, I had the opportunity to work on several impactful projects, and this allowed me to apply my skills in data analysis and AI-driven processes. One of the most rewarding aspects was collaborating with cross-functional teams, where I was able to build strong relationships and learn from diverse perspectives. This experience helped me improve my problem-solving abilities and adapt quickly to new challenges. And I found out I even got to be a part of some creative brainstorming sessions that involved a bit of friendly competition, definitely kept things exciting and added a unique twist to my workday. Overall, this internship has been a great learning experience, enabling me to grow both professionally and personally. Thank you.
