About the Role Under direct supervision, this entry-level role performs basic deburr operations to prepare precision parts for assembly. Responsibilities include edge breaking, simple surface finishing, and using deburr tools to hand finish surfaces. The role also involves following work instructions and completing shop transactions in the MRP system after instruction.
What You'll Do
- Perform basic deburr operations (edge breaking and simple surface finishing) using deburr tools such as swivel and straight edge knives and pneumatic tools, employing deburr pads to hand finish part surfaces.
- Interpret and follow work instructions including work orders and travelers.
- Complete shop transactions in the relevant MRP system after instruction.
What We're Looking For
- 0-1 years of experience (entry level) in manufacturing or deburring operations.
- Basic competency in interpreting work instructions and following work orders/travelers.
- Willingness to learn and perform deburr tasks and basic surface finishing.
