About the Role Volt is immediately hiring for Deburr Operator II in North Hollywood, CA. This role focuses on advanced hand-finishing and deburring operations with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with customer specifications such as BAC5700 and providing training to teammates. What You'll Do
- Perform advanced hand-finishing and deburring operations with minimal supervision
- Execute edge breaking and surface finishing using a variety of tools and media
- Interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to meet specifications
- Work with various metallic materials to achieve required surface finishes
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications such as BAC5700
- Train and support other team members in deburring operations
- Deburr using manual handheld tools and equipment
- Select and mount appropriate deburring wheels based on material type
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, profilometers, and other tools
- Verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications
- Remove burrs and ensure proper finish quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of deburring or related manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job instructions
- Experience working with various deburring tools, media, and materials
- Familiarity with customer specifications such as BAC5700
- Proficiency using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, profilometers) Nice to Have
- Experience training or mentoring other operators
- Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $22-25/hour
