Volt is immediately hiring a Deburr Operator I in Plano, TX 75024.
As a Deburr Operator I you will:
- Set up and operate deburring, grinding, smoothing, and buffing equipment.
- Inspect small components and parts using microscopes and precision measuring tools.
- Identify and remove burrs, rough edges, and surface imperfections.
- Ensure all products meet quality and production specifications.
- Perform detailed visual inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and quality standards.
- Accurately document production and inspection results.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or machine shop environment preferred.
- Experience handling and inspecting small precision parts.
- Ability to use a microscope for detailed inspections.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Schedule: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Monday to Friday
Pay rate range: $17.50-$18.25 per hour
