Job title: Deal Strategy Manager / Senior Manager
About the Role The Deal Strategy practice at KPMG France supports large international groups, funds and financial institutions in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. You will identify deal issues, quantify synergies and value levers, secure transactional documentation, and shape integration, separation and transformation programs, while coordinating across disciplines and engaging with senior leaders.
What You'll Do
- Conduct and coordinate analyses to identify deal value and synergy opportunities in M&A, carve-out and joint-venture contexts.
- Identify and quantify separation issues and opportunities in carve-outs; draft and secure relevant transaction documentation (review of TSA and key separation clauses).
- Develop integration, separation and transformation strategies and implementation plans; monitor execution.
- Collaborate with Strategy, Finance, Technology & Transformation, People & Change teams and other practice areas; engage with executives of major French and international groups.
- Contribute to business development, including responses to tenders and RFPs.
What We're Looking For
- Degree from a top business school (Ecole de Commerce) / Master 2 / Engineering school with a finance specialization.
- At least 4 years (Manager) or at least 8 years (Senior Manager) of prior experience in a consulting firm or a large corporation.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong understanding of strategic and technological issues in one or more sectors; solid financial analysis skills; ability to quickly grasp operational drivers.
- Experience in reorganizations; rigor, teamwork, and strong communication and synthesis skills.
