Job title: DC Lead Warehouse (Byhalia, 3pm-11pm)
About the Role The Lead is responsible for directing and coaching employees in a manufacturing warehouse setting. This role supports order picking, replenishing, moving product, and processing orders, while ensuring safety and organization during the 3pm-11pm shift at the Byhalia facility.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and assist with order picking, replenishing, moving product, and processing orders
- Schedule pick-up
- Train and coach employees
- Monitor performance and production goals; correct errors and escalate as needed
- Create BOLs and bills of lading; process and track orders
- Perform computer-related tasks and run reports
- Ensure processes and policies are followed; identify and correct production issues
- Maintain overall organization and area cleanliness
What We're Looking For
- Education equivalent to high school diploma (four years)
- 2-3 years general labor experience; 2 years lead experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with forklift operation and basic computer/reporting tasks
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with variable temperatures; physical endurance for lifting, bending, and pushing/pulling
- Comfortable driving motorized equipment for extended periods
Nice to Have
- Prior lead experience
- Experience with BOLs and warehousing documentation
