About the Role The DC Lead I will direct and coach warehouse staff on the Olive Branch, MS shift (Fri.-Sun, 6p-6a) to ensure efficient order fulfillment and a well-organized operation. This leadership role supports Milwaukee Tool's growth by driving productivity, accuracy, and safety in the distribution center.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and assist with order picking, replenishing, moving product, and processing orders
- Schedule pick-ups, train and coach employees, monitor performance and production goals
- Correct errors and escalate to the proper individual; create BOLs and bill orders
- Perform computer-related tasks and run reports
- Ensure processes and policies are followed
- Identify and correct production issues; maintain overall organization and cleanliness of the area
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years general labor experience; 2 years lead experience preferred
- Education equivalent to four years of high school
- Strong communications skills (oral and written)
- Ability to operate motorized equipment; willingness to work in manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working in various temperature conditions; physical capability to drive long periods, bend, stoop, push and pull
Nice to Have
- Lead experience in a warehouse/distribution setting (2 years preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and coaching abilities
