About the Role Milwaukee Tool is seeking a DC Lead I for the 1st shift at Olive Branch, MS to direct and coach warehouse staff in distribution center operations. The role focuses on leading daily processes to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency while supporting the biggest breakthroughs in the industry.
What You'll Do
- Direct and coach warehouse staff to achieve performance and production goals.
- Oversee and assist with order picking, replenishing, moving product, and processing orders.
- Schedule pick-ups and coordinate shipping activities.
- Train and coach employees; monitor performance and production goals; correct errors and escalate as needed.
- Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and bill orders.
- Perform computer-related tasks and generate reports.
- Ensure processes and policies are followed; identify and correct production issues.
- Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of the work area.
What We're Looking For
- Education equivalent to high school diploma (four years)
- 2-3 years general labor experience
- 2 years lead experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to train and coach employees
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment; ability to operate motorized equipment and perform physical tasks (bending, stooping, pushing/pulling)
Nice to Have
- Lead experience (2 years) preferred
- Forklift operation experience
