Job title: DC Facilities Supervisor
About the Role The DC Facilities Supervisor oversees technicians and leads decisions on technical solutions at the DC2 site. This role combines supervision with hands-on maintenance of conveyor systems, parts management, and performance coaching to keep operations running smoothly at the New Albany, OH facility.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic checks on conveyor systems.
- Document repairs, parts used, and time to complete tasks in the database.
- Investigate root causes of high jam areas and implement effective solutions.
- Audit preventative maintenance quality and time spent; ensure PMs are performed in a timely manner.
- Coach technicians on recognizing potential issues during PMs and determine solutions and timelines for implementations.
- Prioritize, assign, and close work orders, ensuring accuracy of time allotment and parts signed out.
- Perform technician duties as needed, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Manage parts ordering and stock room; oversee DC2 site status.
- Lead daily group meetings and shift turnover from the previous shift.
What We're Looking For
- Associates degree or equivalent supervisory experience of 5+ years.
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in distribution or manufacturing.
- Extensive knowledge of powered conveyors and associated equipment.
- Familiarity with Rapistan/Dematic and SDI conveyors (a plus).
- Familiarity with 12v, 24v, 48v, 120v circuits and 120v/480v motors; able to wire 480v motors.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to read electrical prints and follow mechanical drawings and parts breakdowns.
- Welding and machining experience a plus.
- Must be comfortable with heights.
- Familiar with lockout/tagout procedures.
