Dayforce Analyst

About the Role Join Mattel Global Business Services as a Dayforce Analyst in Hyderabad to lead and contribute to the end-to-end Dayforce Payroll implementation and optimization. The role focuses on configuring payroll policies, enabling accurate data migration, building integrations, and providing reporting and support to ensure compliant, reliable payroll operations. What You'll Do

• Lead and participate in the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support, including configuring Dayforce Payroll based on pay policies, earning and deduction codes, and tax configurations.
• Manage data migration and design, build, and test integrations between Dayforce and other systems (e.g., time and attendance, financial software), often using SQL and XML.
• Conduct unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), including parallel payroll runs to validate Dayforce outputs against the legacy system.
• Act as a subject matter expert, troubleshoot data, configuration, or integration issues during implementation or post-go-live.
• Develop and configure custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into payroll data, leveraging Dayforce data structures and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with business teams to document processes, train users, and promote Dayforce best practices. What We're Looking For
• Proven experience implementing and configuring Dayforce Payroll with at least 3-5 years in the role.
• Experience with other Dayforce modules such as Workforce Management (WFM) or Benefits is a plus.
• Technical proficiency in data migration, system integrations, and reporting; knowledge of SQL and XML.
• In-depth Payroll knowledge including tax regulations, compliance, and general accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to lead workshops and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or Computer Science; Dayforce certifications are highly valued. Nice to Have
