About the Role As a Datahall Design Service Delivery Director, you will lead and manage a team of DC Infrastructure Engineers responsible for the design, implementation, and delivery of data center infrastructure solutions. You will oversee project execution, resource planning, quality assurance, customer engagement, and operational excellence across multiple data center design initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in data center infrastructure, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful service delivery aligned with business objectives and client expectations.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team of DC Infrastructure Engineers responsible for designing and delivering data center infrastructure solutions including facilities structure, cabinets, overhead ladders and raceways, structured cabling, aisles (hot & cold), cabinets, mechanical, electrical, servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data hall design projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met.
• Drive capacity planning, resource allocation, and operational readiness to support scalable and efficient data center environments.
• Establish and monitor service delivery metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure high levels of operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, facilities, networking, security, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution and infrastructure deployment.
• Review and approve technical designs, AutoCAD layouts, and infrastructure documentation to ensure adherence to design standards, operational requirements, and best practices.
• Lead issue resolution and escalation management for infrastructure-related challenges, ensuring timely troubleshooting and minimal operational impact.
• Implement and maintain governance, compliance, and security standards to protect data center assets and ensure alignment with industry regulations and company policies.
• Manage infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansion initiatives with minimal disruption to ongoing operations and customer environments.
• Develop and maintain operational processes, documentation standards, and knowledge-sharing practices to support consistency and operational continuity.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineering team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with emerging data center technologies, industry trends, and best practices, recommending strategic improvements to infrastructure design and service delivery capabilities.
• Support customer engagement and relationships to ensure client satisfaction and successful outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Strong leadership and team management experience in data center infrastructure design and delivery.
• Technical expertise in data center infrastructure including facilities structure, cabinets, electrical, mechanical, cabling, servers, storage, networking, and related equipment.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, facilities, networking, security) and external vendors.
• Experience reviewing and approving technical designs, AutoCAD layouts, and infrastructure documentation.
• Track record of meeting timelines, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations; ability to develop and monitor KPIs/SLAs.
• Knowledge of governance, compliance, and security standards to protect data center assets and align with regulations.
• Ability to mentor and develop engineering staff and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with emerging data center technologies and industry best practices.
