About the Role UDW/AFSCME Local 3930 seeks a Database Analyst II to support the Data and Analytics Department in California. The role reports to the Data Analytics Director and requires handling multiple priorities, providing technical problem resolution, and driving complex data initiatives, automation, and reporting. The position combines independent work with mentorship of junior analysts to deliver strategic insights for leadership and members.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and optimize secure, efficient, and scalable databases
- Lead complex data collection, transformation, and integration efforts
- Perform heavy data cleaning, validation, and standardization tasks
- Collect, manipulate, clean, and prepare data for use in organizational databases and data platforms
- Develop and maintain advanced SQL scripts, queries, and data procedures
- Administer CRM and membership databases, including system configuration and optimization
- Design automated workflows and data pipelines while ensuring performance and data integrity
- Develop and refine data processes to measure organizational and organizing outcomes
- Produce advanced analytical reports, dashboards, and insights for senior leadership
- Coordinate complex data exchanges between external platforms and internal systems
- Establish and enforce data management practices and standards
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year (Exempt)
