About the Role Database Administrator role responsible for patching and upgrading databases, building environments, support for patching and failover, and data movement across production and lower environments in a hybrid work setup in Mexico City. The position requires strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines while aligning IT capabilities with business requirements. The role involves hands-on administration across multiple database platforms and cloud integrations, including AWS rehydration activities, to ensure data availability, integrity and performance.
What You'll Do
- Database patching and upgrades
- Database builds
- Oracle and Cassandra OS patching support
- Support database failover activities
- Support user maintenance activities
- Take data copies from production to lower environments and between lower environments
- Super cluster support
- Support replication technologies (Shareflex, GoldenGate, IBM CDG)
- KVDB support
- Rehydration in AWS environment
