About the Role KBRA Data Management is part of the Technology department and works closely with the analytical teams to support the ratings process and improve data quality. The Data Steward – Data Operations role focuses on processing requests, maintaining data, and resolving discrepancies to enable accurate analytical workflows. What You'll Do
- Process data requests and support data operations to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Maintain data quality by validating datasets and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with analytical teams and IT partners to support the ratings process and data governance. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; 3 years in financial services or 2 years in a credit rating agency.
- SQL and Excel proficiency; Python and Jira/Confluence experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and data-quality focus. Nice to Have
- Experience with Python and Jira/Confluence (already mentioned) and familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000-$90,000 per year. Location: New York, NY (Hybrid work arrangement).
