About the Role Booz Allen's Data Scientist Network Analyst role combines analytic science with offensive cyber operations. You'll apply vulnerability analysis, network mapping, exploitation, defensive, and IT logging experience to execute critical operations and inform mission owners. As a data scientist, you'll build rapid analytic methodologies and tools, work closely with analysts and data sets, automate methodologies with developers, and create data visualizations and strategic guidance for clients. What You'll Do
- Build rapid analytic methodologies and tools to solve highly technical analytic intelligence problems.
- Collaborate with analysts and intelligence data sets to identify new analytic findings.
- Work with software developers to automate and streamline methodologies into deployable, scalable solutions.
- Develop data visualizations from diverse data sources and tool suites with emphasis on simplicity and interoperability.
- Perform gap analysis and advise on a comprehensive data strategy to deliver analytic intelligence solutions for clients.
- Support offensive cyber operations essential to national security missions. What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in network analysis.
- Experience with scripting languages, including Perl and Python.
- Experience with the Transmission Control Protocol or Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) suite.
- Experience with networking components configuration.
- Knowledge of multiple operating system environments.
- Knowledge of server service platforms, including web, e-mail, and DNS.
- Knowledge of routed and switched environments and IP concepts.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high levels of uncertainty. Compensation & Benefits
- The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000 to $225,000 (annualized USD).
