About the Role KPMG seeks a Data Scientist to join our Audit Technology Alliance organization. Responsibilities center on developing sophisticated generative AI solutions and guiding a team of data scientists to deliver impactful AI-enabled features within audit tech.
What You'll Do
- Develop sophisticated generative AI solutions; provide technical guidance to a team of data scientists.
- Guide the end-to-end data science lifecycle for key product features; oversee experimentation, rigorous model evaluation, and prompt engineering and optimization.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, audit subject matter experts, and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.
- Champion a culture of quality and innovation within engineering teams; identify opportunities to continually improve solutions.
- Drive quality SDLC processes with AI engineering teams; deliver solutions on time to meet business cycle timelines.
- Champion and enhance AI and RAG evaluation frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- Experience building and deploying generative AI solutions and leading data science teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with product managers and engineers.
- Strong track record in end-to-end data science lifecycle: experimentation, model evaluation, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with SDLC and best practices in AI engineering.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of AI evaluation frameworks and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
