About this role

Data Product Consultant

The Data Product Consultant (DPC) is the technical lead for a portfolio of Nexxen enterprise clients, from onboarding through ongoing support. The DPC gets client and partner data into the Nexxen platform, keeps integrations and data deliveries working, and resolves technical issues through to the fix. The DPC is the technical partner to Sales, Account Management and Product, and represents the client's needs to Product and Engineering.

As part of Nexxen's Technical Services organization, the DPC works the team's inbound request queue against standard SLAs. With guidance from team leadership, the DPC recommends data onboarding approaches that meet each client's business goals. The role suits someone who is curious, thinks clearly when something breaks, and can explain technical topics to both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Data onboarding and integrations

  • With team leadership support, recommend and carry out data onboarding strategies for a portfolio of accounts: 1P/CRM audience files, CRM connectors (e.g. HubSpot), hashed email, data-collection pixels, and ID syncs.

  • Set up measurement and attribution integrations, including offline-sales and footfall beacons and endpoints, server-to-server events and MMP connections.

  • Configure and maintain log-level data exports to client destinations (S3, SFTP), including fields, schemas, cadence and test deliveries.

  • Support clients and agencies integrating with Nexxen's APIs: credentials, market access, setup questions and first-line troubleshooting.

  • Support clients adopting Nexxen's AI and MCP tools during technical setup and access.

  • Troubleshooting and escalation

  • Investigate data discrepancies, ingestion failures, missing pixel activity, reach and match-rate issues, and failed deliveries; find the cause and drive it to resolution.

  • Identify, reproduce and document defects and client-requested enhancements in Jira, and track them with Product and Engineering through to resolution.

  • Work inbound requests from the Technical Services queue within standard SLAs.

  • Analysis and documentation

  • Write SQL to validate data, investigate issues and produce client analyses (e.g. match-backs, match-rate and ID analysis).

  • Develop and maintain technical design documents, project scope documents and issues lists.

  • Apply Nexxen data-handling and privacy rules to client deliveries

  • Client and cross-functional partnership

  • Serve as primary technical point of contact for assigned clients and partners.

  • Support Sales with technical discovery, capability questions, RFI responses and sales office hours.

  • Help clients use new and existing Nexxen data products, and support Account Management in client trainings and business reviews.

  • Give Product feedback on new releases and client needs, including user acceptance testing of new data features.

  • Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a technical consulting, solutions or technical account management role.

  • Programmatic advertising experience, including how audience data, identity and measurement work in a DSP.

  • Client-facing experience, including handling sensitive client issues with care.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; can explain technical topics to business and technical audiences.

  • Organized and dependable with a high volume of concurrent requests and deadlines.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical or quantitative field.

  • DMP or CDP experience.

  • SQL experience.

  • Familiarity with identity and data-matching concepts (hashed email, MAIDs, cookie syncs, identity graphs).

  • Experience with REST APIs, cloud storage (AWS S3) and file-based data pipelines.

  • Experience with Jira or a similar ticketing system.

  • In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 at the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. We offer a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, unlimited vacation, and company-paid holidays.
