Job title: Data Practitioner (Data Engineer / Analytics)
About the Role Join Aily Labs' Data Chapter as a Data Practitioner (a mix of Data Engineer and Analytics). You will build and own the complete data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to quality and delivery—for the Data-to-Decision engine powering the Aily App, across multiple tenants, ensuring data is accessible, trustworthy, and ready for ML. Collaborate with Product, Software Engineering, and ML/Data Science teams to turn complex data into real-world AI impact.
What You'll Do
- Build and own end-to-end data pipelines: ingestion, transformation (dbt), quality checks, and delivery to the Aily App and AI models.
- Design and operate multi-tenant, config-driven pipelines and models to serve diverse client needs with reliability and scalability.
- Develop robust data infrastructure using Python, APIs (FastAPI/Pydantic), SQL, and modern tooling (dbt, Airflow, Alembic, SQLModel) and manage schema migrations.
- Collaborate with Product to define data contracts and with Software Engineering to ensure seamless integration with the Aily App; partner with ML/DS to prepare high-performance datasets for AI impact.
- Ensure governance, security, and compliance, and implement automated QA and monitoring to maintain a "Single Source of Truth" and 24/7 uptime.
