About the Role You’ll be joining the Grow Squad, which manages a multi-product portfolio including Current Accounts, Savings, Investments, and Digital Assets. Your mission is to ensure we serve customers safely, sustainably, and profitably as we scale the world’s money. What You'll Do
- Work with the Scalable Platform product team to identify Financial, Regulatory, and Operational risks for the Grow squad, and build controls and assurance monitoring to ensure risks are sustainably managed.
- Act as the primary data partner for Wise’s Scalable Platform product team, providing confidence that the Grow squad operates within safe limits and supporting strategy and governance. What We're Looking For
- A strategic data leader who bridges technical analytics and business risk; can influence product decisions, not just report on what happened.
- Expert-level SQL and experience building/maintaining robust data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake.
- Python for automation and forecasting; applied statistical rigor (e.g., Bayesian statistics, causal inference) to solve complex product problems.
- Commercial & risk mindset; understanding unit economics (LTV, CAC, Margin) and balancing aggressive growth with necessary risk controls.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive strategic impact in product roadmap, pricing, or operations.
- Strong communication skills; capable of storytelling with data to explain the why and the so-what to leadership.
