Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to act as a key data lead. This role involves leveraging versatile technical capabilities to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data products that enable self-service for data consumers. The position requires re-engineering and migrating data processes from on-premises systems to Amazon Web Services and exploring industry trends in the Big Data and Digital domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key data lead to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data products.

• Re-engineer data processes and migrate them from on-premises to Amazon Web Services.

• Explore industry trends, tools, and techniques in Open Source, Big Data, and Digital domains.

• Execute and monitor data processes that deliver critical data to partners and regulators.

• Develop prototypes and implement new business intelligence tools, solutions, and techniques.

• Assist in the development of standards and policies for business intelligence frameworks.

• Evaluate data management, data quality, and data access processes for gaps and inefficiencies, and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Implement solutions for management and governance across data quality metrics, metadata, lineage, data access rights, and business definitions.

• Develop data mapping to enable end-users to transition to new systems.

• Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.

Skills

• At least 1 year of experience with hands-on Snowflake SQL and at least 1 year of experience in Python coding along with automation scripting skills.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.

• Degree specialized in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.

• Experience in domain knowledge focused on risk management, audit, or credit operational control space.

• Experience with Python, PySpark, Snowflake SQL, Unix/Linux, and GitHub.

• Experience with Amazon Web Services products such as Quicksight and Snowflake.

• Experience with BI tools such as Quicksight.

• 1+ years of experience working with process management and improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).

• 1+ years of experience with data governance, data quality management concepts, and data quality tools.
