About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Management Account Lead to drive operational excellence, strategic growth, and clinical program delivery. In this leadership position, you will oversee Data Management teams, serve as the primary client contact for complex, multi-study accounts, and manage critical business functions including resource planning, team development, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Data Management teams, ensuring high-quality, timely project delivery, team development, and continuous performance improvement.

Serve as the primary client and internal escalation point, driving account governance, resource planning, KPI management, and operational excellence across multiple studies and projects.

Build and maintain strong client partnerships, support business growth initiatives, and contribute to bid pursuits and strategic account expansion.

Oversee training programs, compliance activities, quality management, and adherence to ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures.

Manage resource allocation, utilization planning, recruitment strategy, financial performance, and risk mitigation across global Data Management teams.

Foster cross-functional collaboration with clinical, regulatory, and project management teams to achieve account objectives and drive continuous process improvement.

Provide Data Management expertise and strategic guidance on complex clinical programs, EDC platforms, and regulatory compliance matters.

Proactively manage risks, issues, and contingency planning to ensure account profitability and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in Clinical Data Management, project leadership, account management, and people management within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.

Proven track record of leading global teams, managing complex client partnerships, and delivering complex clinical programs.

Strong understanding of cross-functional clinical development processes, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Expertise in Data Management, EDC platforms (Rave, Inform, Medidata, etc.), and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Life Sciences or a related field.

Professional certifications and industry affiliations (e.g., SOCRA, ACRP).

Experience managing complex, multi-study clinical programs across therapeutic areas.

Background in operational excellence, process optimization, and quality management.

Experience with global team management and cross-functional collaboration in matrixed environments.
