Job title: Data Governance Analyst
About the Role This role coordinates the implementation of the data governance framework and policies across GNP's areas, promoting the institutional culture to realize the value of information in business processes and ensuring proper data lifecycle governance.
What You'll Do
- Implement the governance model, objectives and tools across GNP’s areas, standardizing the data lifecycle for proper governance.
- Analyze processes to identify data sources in the data lifecycle to gain an integral understanding of data and its use across GNP’s areas.
- Coordinate with involved areas the data quality testing to ensure proper data usage in decision making.
- Analyze the results of data governance implementation and identify opportunities to improve the data lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Licenciatura or Ingeniería completed, with 100% credits in Industrial Engineering, Administration of Companies, Industrial Administration, Systems or Actuarial.
- Certifications: SQL intermedio (Indispensable); Administración de bases de datos (Arquitectura en sistemas, Bases de Datos) desirable; Modelado de bases de datos y diagrama de flujos; Administración (control).
- Experience/Responsibilities: Insurance sector desirable; Experience handling large data volumes; Data quality, security, metadata; Coordinate cross‑functional teams; Python and Foundry desirable.
- Tools: Google Suite and/or Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Domain / Roles: Gobierno de Información, Analista de Datos; Technical areas (Manejo de datos); Siniestros/Servicio/Comerciales (mismo si manejan datos).
Nice to Have
- Python and Foundry experience (deseable).
