About the Role SDG Group is seeking a passionate data and innovation professional to join our Data & Analytics team as a Data Engineer (Snowflake & dbt). You will participate in all phases of data projects to deliver robust data solutions and support business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Participate in all phases of data projects: requirements definition, data ingestion and transformation, modeling, visualization and deployment.
- Work with SQL databases, ETL tools and Cloud solutions, integrating data from diverse sources.
- Collaborate on Cloud architectures and automation processes.
- Attend client meetings and participate in internal and external training.
What We're Looking For

Indispensable: Degrees in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Data Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent; minimum 3 years of professional experience as a data engineer.

Experience handling SQL databases and developing/optimizing data transformation processes (ETL/ELT) using dbt.

Solid experience with dbt (modeling, tests, sources, documentation, best practices).

Hands-on Snowflake experience (modeling, performance tuning, clustering, logical partitioning, roles and warehouses management).

Experience building and optimizing Snowflake pipelines, handling large data volumes with performance, scalability and cost control.

Experience in consulting or agile environments.

Strong communication, analytical skills and business orientation.

Desirable/Valuable: Cloud projects (AWS, GCP or Microsoft), Python experience, knowledge of Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms, intermediate-high English.
