What will you do?

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Functions in Palantir Foundry. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust and efficient solutions using Agile Scrum Methodology.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a directly related field plus three (3) years of data engineering experience.

Must have at least two (2) years of experience with the following:

• Experience with cloud services (E.G. AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Dataflow).
• Data modeling, database design, and optimization .

Must have at least one (1) year of experience with the following:

• SQL
• Python
• Py-spark
• TypeScript
• Version Control
• Git and Git Hub

Travel required up to 25%. Telecommuting is permitted.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery to

• various business applications.

• Implement data governance security best practices to safeguard sensitive information.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, ensuring continuous data

• availability and reliability.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to facilitate data-driven decision-making

• processes.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating

• innovative solutions into data engineering practices.

• Document and communicate technical solutions and processes effectively.

• Travel required up to 25%. Telecommuting is permitted.

• Where will you work?

• This position is in a fixed location based in the Birmingham, AL office. However, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

• This position will require travel within the U.S. Specifically, domestic travel will be required about 25% of time for internal meetings and client sites. Please also note, applications involving job opportunities which require the beneficiary to work in various locations throughout the U.S. cannot be anticipated.

• Please note that this job is not eligible to be performed in the states of New York, New Jersey, California, or Colorado.
