About the Role Data Engineers are responsible for developing ETL jobs to provide/process information to/from the Bank and its partners. The role requires experience with Azure Data Factory, cloud data solutions, and data lineage technologies, as well as advanced SQL Server programming and ETL tools such as SSIS. What You'll Do
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage Bank-wide systems and knowledge.
- Resolve highly complex problems to meet business needs, and provide design and methodology recommendations and system solutions.
- Provide business support to all units globally, including ad hoc queries and assisting with design and implementation of system enhancements; ensure management is informed and issues escalated.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and adoption of latest technologies and methodologies.
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for ETL processes built on ADF, SSIS, DataStage, and SQL scripting.
- Coordinate with various teams, vendors, and third parties for issue resolution; document issues, solutions, root causes and findings for future use.
- Apply development practices such as debugging, testing, coding, and using version control tools (TFS).
- Leverage performance tuning skills; DevOps process oriented.
- Understand and apply the Bank's risk appetite and compliance requirements in day-to-day activities, ensuring operation controls.
- Foster a high-performance and inclusive work environment. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in technology and/or engineering.
- 1-3 years of solid T-SQL programming experience.
- Optional: 1 year Azure Data Factory pipeline development experience.
- Knowledge of ETL technologies and data processing concepts (aggregation, cleansing, enrichment, lookup, pivoting, grouping). Nice to Have
