Job title: Data Engineer
About the Role We are seeking a Data Engineer to join P&G's Data & Analytics team in Manila. You will turn abstract business needs into actionable data pipelines and analytics platforms using Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, leading design and implementation of data solutions.
What You'll Do
- Build data & analytics solutions in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud – craft technical solutions to acquire, process, store and provide insights based on the processed data.
- Develop within existing cloud designs (Azure/GCP) to help the business gain valuable insights.
- Work on automation and optimization of internal processes in Azure/GCP.
- Influence the future of these technologies and how P&G uses them.
- Collaborate with multifunctional and multinational teams within and outside P&G.
- Focus on key business cases development within Data & Analytics + MS Azure/GCP.
- Work on agile products using cloud solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Python/PySpark and SQL/SparkSQL.
- Experience in Big Data/ETL (Spark and Databricks preferred).
- Experience implementing projects & solutions in cloud (Azure/GCP preferred, AWS).
- Knowledge and/or experience with CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of AAS, DAX and PowerBI front end.
- Previous experience or understanding of Data Models.
- Knowledge of Agile SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.
- English proficiency and at least a bachelor’s degree.
