About the Role We are an innovative organization transforming our business through data-driven decision-making. Our BI & Analytics team is building a state-of-the-art platform on Microsoft Fabric to unlock insights and deliver high-quality analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a robust data architecture and enable data-driven decisions across ORTEC. What You'll Do
- Build, test, and optimize data pipelines and integrations across data sources
- Ensure data availability, quality and governance across systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in an agile/scrum environment
- Research and assess the latest analytics technologies and features and share knowledge with the team
- Maintain and evolve the data architecture and platform within the internal BI team based in the Netherlands What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years’ experience with data integration, ETL processes, and database management in medium/large organizations
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data governance
- Focus on security, compliance, performance, and scalability
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or Power BI and tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and Azure ML
- Strong SQL skills; experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL)
- Programming skills in DAX, Python, and Scala (or willingness to learn)
- Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps) and version control
- Based in the Netherlands and fluent in English (written and spoken); basic Dutch a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or related field Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern analytics platforms
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and cloud-native architectures Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: €4615-€5910 per month
- Mobility allowance: 3% of base salary; year-end bonus equal to one month’s pay (13th month); holiday pay 8%
- 25 annual leave days plus additional days from age 35; remote/hybrid working options
