We are hiring a Data Engineer specializing in ML/AI Ops and Cloud Data Platforms for a role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The position offers a net monthly salary in the range of ₦1,000,000 to ₦1,500,000 and focuses on building and maintaining robust data pipelines and platform capabilities to support ML and AI operations.

Design, build, and maintain production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines to support ML/AI workflows and cloud data platform needs.

Collaborate on cloud-based data platforms, leveraging Databricks or Snowflake to enable scalable data processing and analytics.

Develop and optimize data processing code using Python, SQL, and PySpark to ensure data reliability, quality, and performance.

Contribute to ML/AI operations initiatives by providing reliable data infrastructure and tooling to support model development and deployment.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, governance, and availability for analytics and modeling.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent field.

At least 4 years of data engineering experience.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience with Databricks or Snowflake.

Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.

Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
