About the Role
We are seeking a forward-thinking Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer to design next-generation, cloud-native data ecosystems. As part of a leading global organization, you will act as a dynamic leader driving enterprise digital transformation, cloud migrations, and real-time data platform modernization.
Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end data architecture for large-scale modernization and digital transformation programs.

Design and implement modern data platforms using cloud-native services (Azure, AWS, GCP), including lakehouses, streaming pipelines, and orchestration frameworks.

Define and drive the adoption of modern architecture patterns such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Virtualization, and Knowledge Graphs.

Drive the adoption of modern data stacks, including Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery, Kafka, dbt, and Delta Lake.

Develop logical and physical data models to support structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

Define and implement strategies for data governance, metadata management, DataOps, data security, and access controls.

Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and AI/ML teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering roles (minimum 5 years required).

Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) or emerging platforms like IOMETE.

Data Warehousing: Expertise in modern data warehousing and lakehouse platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery).

Data Integration: Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Azure Data Factory, Glue, Airflow) and streaming platforms (Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming).

Data Governance: Experience with data cataloging and discovery tools (Collibra, Alation, Purview, etc.) and CI/CD DataOps pipelines.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Work Setup: Must be amenable to working onsite in Manila on a shifting schedule.
