About the Role As a Data Center Technician (DCT) at Microsoft, you will stage, set up, and perform hardware deployments in support of data center operations. You will also conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment and perform hardware decommissions for simple changes and refreshes in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. What You'll Do
- Stage, set up, and deploy hardware in data center environments
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment to maintain optimal operation
- Perform hardware decommissions for simple changes and refreshes following Standard Operating Procedures What We're Looking For
- Experience with hardware deployment and basic data center operations
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work onsite in a data center environment
