About the Role As a Microsoft Data Center Technician (DCT) Manager, you will lead a team of technicians, providing expert guidance on hardware deployments, diagnostics on equipment, and hardware decommissions. You will support technician performance, prioritizing tasks while monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). What You'll Do
- Lead a team of data center technicians and provide technical guidance on deployments, diagnostics, and decommissions.
- Prioritize tasks, manage workload, and monitor KPI to ensure performance and service levels.
- Collaborate with operations, facilities, and engineering teams to optimize data center reliability and efficiency.
- Mentor and develop technicians, conduct performance reviews, and recruit/train as needed. What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience managing a team of technicians in a data center or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience with hardware deployments, diagnostics, and decommissions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage KPIs, and drive performance improvements.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
