About this role
Carrier Climate Solutions Data Center Solutions has an opportunity for a Business Operations Coordinator.
The Business Operations Coordinator supports the Data Center (DC) team in Edmonton, AB by executing operational processes and assisting with daily management tasks to ensure high-quality service delivery and exceptional customer experience. Reporting to the Business Operations Supervisor, the coordinator works closely with Business Operations Generalists, master schedulers, and project managers to help maintain smooth operations, accurate records, and compliance with Carrier policies.
This is an onsite role outside of Edmonton, AB.
Key Responsibilities

Create cases, open jobs, and dispatch work orders in coordination with team supervisors.

Monitor project timelines, track task progress, and provide backup coverage for the master scheduler.

Order parts, process purchases, handle goods receipts, and manage invoices per company standards.

Reconcile accounts, match Procard transactions, complete cost transfers, and process credit requests.

Execute client billing for completed billable work and submit warranty claims.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, COI requirements, audit controls, and regulated material procedures.

Track team KPIs, operational cadence metrics, and report trends or risks to management.

Coordinate teamwork schedules to maintain continuous customer support and review project outcomes.

Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in scheduling, operations, or project coordination; OR
-
Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience in scheduling, operations, or project coordination; OR
-
High School Diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience in scheduling, operations, or project coordination.

Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience supporting teams or working within a team environment.

Knowledge of enterprise software (Salesforce, ServiceMax, SAP S/4Hana, etc.)

Organizational and time management skills
-
Manage multiple priorities and collaboration and adaptable skills.

Effective English communication written and verbal skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

Pay Range
-
The expected base salary range for this role is between 71,500.00 CAD - 121,500.00 CAD annually. The rate of pay may be impacted by factors such as the applicant's geographic location, market data/range, skills, prior relevant experience, job-related knowledge, specific degrees and certifications, and/or other relevant considerations.

This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, as well as possible retirement contributions. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the province in which the applicant is to be employed.

This role may also provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus, sales bonus, sales commission or local incentive. If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation, it will be based on measurable performance factors which may include company performance, individual performance or other key performance indicators.
