About the Role The Office of the Chief Justice is seeking an entry-level Data Capturer to support administrative and data management tasks in the Labour and Labour Appeals Court in Johannesburg. The role focuses on accurate data entry, record keeping, and providing information to assist case processing and reporting. What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative support services and assist with data capture and management
  • Capture and update data from available records into formats such as databases, tables, and spreadsheets
  • Verify missing data and identify errors during data entry
  • Review and validate data sourced from records
  • Submit data and perform regular backups of data
  • Update registers and statistics; keep and maintain organized records and files
  • Record and file documents
  • Support verification personnel by providing required data sources and files
  • Collect applications for default judgment and taxation from the General Office
  • Provide information to responsible components
  • Sort and distribute incoming data to be captured evenly What We're Looking For
  • Grade 12 / Matric or NQF Level 4 qualification; computer literate
  • Knowledge of clerical duties and understanding of the legal framework governing the public service
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal); strong interpersonal relations and customer service
  • Interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
  • NB. Shortlisted candidates will undertake a pre-entry practical exercise as part of the assessment method to determine suitability Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: R193 359 - R227 766 per annum (Level 04)
