Job title: Data Capturer
About the Role The Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) is hiring Data Capturers to capture financial and transactional data in line with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (Act No. 38 of 2001). The role supports MAA operational project requirements while contributing to financial crime compliance efforts.
What You'll Do
- Perform data capturing activities
- Assist with quality control and monitoring activities
- Filing of captured data in line with departmental standards
- Authenticate, verify, validate captured data
- Identify and report discrepancies and any other issues identified during the data capturing process
- Compile and submit progress reports as and when required
What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 (Preferably with Accounting and Mathematics subjects)
- Minimum 1 year data capturing experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- An intermediate level of computer literacy, including MS Word and MS Excel You are trained on data up to October 2023.
