About the Role Join Merkle, a dentsu company, as a Data Architect to design and implement enterprise analytics platforms and data architectures across sales, finance, e-commerce, manufacturing/logistics, banking or CRM. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, and data engineers to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions using the latest cloud technologies in AWS/Azure/GCP, BI platforms like Fabric and Snowflake. What You'll Do
- Assist in the design and implementation of data architecture, working closely with stakeholders and data engineers to translate requirements into scalable data models and solutions.
- Provide thought leadership and drive architecture of enterprise analytics platforms, customer platforms, and other solutions to deliver actionable insights.
- Become the technical single point of contact (SPoC) for stakeholders, including C-level executives; supervise and guide the implementation team to align with business requirements.
- Apply governance methods for long-term scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity in line with enterprise architecture, security and infrastructure standards.
- Support pre-sales by proposing technical solutions and effort estimates. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology-related field.
- 3+ years of experience in design and build of data solutions (CRM data modeling, large-scale Data Lake/DWH, ETL/APIs, cloud-based tools).
- Experience with BI projects using Power BI, Tableau, and other ML/AI oriented solutions.
- 5+ years of experience with ER models and data modeling techniques; strong understanding of Data Mesh, Data Lake, MDM, data quality, lambda architectures, streaming.
- Proficiency with architecture methodologies and tools (diagramming) and standards (Archimate, TOGAF); strong leadership, mentorship, and collaboration.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; good business acumen in relevant domains. Nice to Have
- Proven track record of handling large Architecture Review Board discussions.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience with full software development lifecycle (CI/CD), including development skills using programming languages like Python/Java/Scala/C++ and relational/NoSQL databases.
- Experience in Data Modeling tools such as ER/Studio, Orbus, Oracle Data Modeler, Erwin Modeler, Power Designer, or similar.
- Good knowledge of metadata management.
- Experienced with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFE).
